Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP is a regional, public accounting firm that delivers innovative accounting, tax, audit and specialized services. We are currently seeking a Tax Manager - Senior Manager, FAS 109 for our office in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:
- Proficient knowledge of ASC 740-10 (FAS 109 and FIN 48)
- Current/deferred taxes and tax account roll forwards
- Valuation allowance assessments
- Purchase accounting as a result of acquisitions
- Allocating taxes between parent and subsidiaries as a result of tax matters agreements
- Separately filed or audited financial statement tax provisions
- Assessing uncertain tax positions
- Calculation of global tax provisions and tax-related disclosures for SEC filings
- Strong corporate tax compliance background
Requirements:
- Technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate tax compliance
- Quarterly Tax Provisions applying APB28 & FIN18 a plus
- CPA certification
- Bachelor's degree and approximately 1 to 5 years of related work experience; or a master's degree
- Broad exposure to corporate income taxation
- CorpTax or TaxSteam a plus
- Financial Services experience recommended
- Strong State Income, Federal and/or International Tax
- Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
- Demonstrated business development skill
